• Based on plant operation status (e.g.operator positions, cycle time bottlenecks) and exchange with value stream leaders, identified use cases where automation solutions are beneficial, and prioritize them through systematic criteria
• Develop automation concepts (mechanical, computer vision, …) for identified use cases, and perform ROI calculation to enable prioritization decisions
• Understand the state-of-art automation technologies and trends in the market, and bring the insights to manufacturing organization. Integrate emerging technologies into automation concepts
• Manage the overview of all automation activities within plant to ensure transparency and identify synergies
• Manage the cross-function automation projects to ensure fulfillment of the automation concept in time and within budget. Organize kick-off, regular meetings, management reports, and manage risks and resolve conflicts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor + in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• 3+ years project management experience, preferred in automotive industry and relevant to automation. Independently manage at least 2 projects in the past.
• Good overview on market state-of-art and future trend regarding automation technologies (AGV, robot / cobot / humanoid, vision, ...)
• Strong coordination and communication skills, Able to manage stakeholders across difference functions
• Experienced with project management tools (e.g. project charter, project management plan, risk management, etc.)
• Basic English
