Compliance Intern/合规实习生

This internship role is designed to support the operational efficiency of the compliance function by handling foundational compliance tasks, with a special focus on data protection. In practice, this means the intern will have direct exposure to the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving compliance function, working on real-world matters that sit at the intersection of law, business operations, and regulatory risk.

• Legal Research: Conduct timely and accurate legal research on evolving compliance and data protection regulations (including PIPL, anti-corruption and other relevant frameworks), and summarize findings into actionable insights for the compliance team.

• Contract & Policy Support: Assist in the preliminary review, drafting, and organization of routine data-related contracts and documents (e.g., data processing agreements, privacy policies) and internal compliance policies.

• Compliance Inquiry Intake: Serve as the first point of contact for basic compliance questions from business departments—filtering inquiries, identifying the key issues, and escalating the inquiries appropriately.

• Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain and organize compliance records, templates, and internal knowledge bases to support efficient team operations.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, IT, HR) on compliance-related matters as needed, ensuring smooth communication and follow-up.

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD degree program (law major required; specialization in privacy, data protection, or compliance is strongly preferred).

• Language Skills: Fluent in English with strong legal drafting and communication skills. Candidates with TOEFL score above 100 or CET-6 score above 600 are preferred.

• Certification: CIPP/E, or other privacy-related certifications are a plus but not a must.

• Duration: Availability to work more than 6 months.
