Senior Manager – Markets Development - FCS - HK/SZ

PwC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager to join the Clients and Markets Development (CMD) team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the CMD team in the planning and execution of key firmwide initiatives. The Senior Manager, will play a crucial role in driving PwC's Markets strategy across Hong Kong and South China by strengthening client relationships, expanding market influence, accelerating xLoS collaboration, and supporting business growth initiatives across priority industries, government and public sector, start-up ecosystems, and key accounts. The role serves as a strategic connector between Markets, LoS leadership, industry teams, and external stakeholders to convert relationships and market intelligence into sustainable growth opportunities.

The candidate should have a thorough understanding of the South China market and business priorities to contribute effectively to the firm’s overall growth and success.

The candidate will primarily assume the following key roles:

Strategic Markets Development

• Support South China Markets leaders on the execution of Hong Kong and South China Markets strategies aligned with key account growth, industry development, government engagement, and xLoS collaboration priorities.
• Develop and maintain market intelligence, stakeholder mapping, and relationship strategies across priority clients, prospects, government bodies, chambers, associations, and ecosystem partners.
• Identify and pursue new growth opportunities within targeted industries including technology, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, consumer markets, logistics, and emerging innovation sectors

Key Account & Revenue Growth

• Drive account planning and relationship development for priority accounts, including Firmwide Priority Clients and C1/C2 conversion opportunities.
• Partner with Lead Partners and client teams to identify whitespace opportunities and facilitate cross-Line-of-Service (xLoS) pursuits.
• Support business development activities that deepen C-suite engagement and expand PwC's service footprint across existing and target clients.

xLoS Collaboration & Industry Programmes

• Promote One Firm collaboration by connecting client needs with relevant expertise across Assurance, Consulting, Tax and Deals.
• Facilitate industry-based and client-based collaboration forums to increase awareness of new solutions, capabilities, and market opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams to support strategically important opportunities and sectors.

Government, Regulatory & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with government bureau, statutory bodies, regulators, chambers of commerce, industry associations, and ecosystem partners.
• Support strategic initiatives within Government and Public Sector (G&PS), promoting PwC's capabilities across technology, finance, policy, risk, AI, digital transformation and public advisory services.
• Coordinate engagement activities that enhance PwC's market influence and support long-term business growth. 

Event & Market Platform Leadership

• Lead the planning and execution of flagship client and market engagement programmes, including:
• NED and Audit Committee programmes
• CFO, CXO and Industry Forums
• Alumni initiatives
• Government and regulatory stakeholder engagements
• South China CFO Summit
• Market Strategy Days and xLoS Solution Showcases
• Ensure events generate measurable relationship-building, pipeline development and branding outcomes

Hong Kong & Greater Bay Area Ecosystem Development

• Support strategic initiatives across Hong Kong and key Greater Bay Area cities including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Foshan, Zhuhai and Zhongshan.
• Develop partnerships with innovation hubs, incubators, industrial parks and start-up ecosystems.
• Strengthen collaboration between Hong Kong and South China teams to maximise market opportunities and client coverage.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Contribute to the development of future market leaders and Next Gen Partners through mentoring, coaching and external exposure opportunities.
• Work closely with Partners and senior stakeholders to increase PwC's visibility and representation within external organisations and professional bodies.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and market excellence.

• Bacherlor's Degree
• 15+ years of significant experience in markets, business development, client relationship management, consulting, professional services, industry development or related functions.
• Strong network across Hong Kong and/or Greater Bay Area business communities.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across multiple business units.
• Experience leading strategic programmes, client events, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Strong commercial acumen, project management and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong, South China and Greater Bay Area business environments and economic priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results in fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging multiple genAI tools and capabilities
• Executive presence and experiences creating and delivering executive presentations in PowerPoint
