Graduate Engineer Trainee - Procurement Management

• Strategic Sourcing: Support sourcing of direct materials/components used in wind turbine manufacturing and projects.
• Supplier Development: Identify and evaluate suppliers based on capability, quality, cost, capacity and delivery performance.
• Localization: Support India localization and China+1 sourcing, including development of competitive domestic suppliers.
• Commercial Analysis: Assist with RFQ/RFP, quotation comparison, should-cost analysis, negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Supplier Performance: Track supplier quality, delivery, cost and capacity, working with Engineering, DQE, Manufacturing and Planning teams.
• Procurement Execution: Support purchase orders, contract documentation, delivery follow-up and resolution of supply constraints.
• Cross-functional Exposure: Work with global and India Supply Chain teams to understand procurement strategy, supplier risk and commodity management.

Preferred Candidate

•  B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production or Manufacturing Engineering
•  Strong analytical and commercial aptitude
•  Good Excel and data-analysis skills
•  Interest in procurement, sourcing, manufacturing and renewable energy
•  Strong communication and negotiation potential
•  Willingness to travel to supplier/manufacturing locations
