(Sr) Scientist,In Vitro Tox, Pharmacology

Develop and validate novel in vitro models| Culture and maintain primary cells, cell lines, 3D organoids in lab. Bring in and develop new advanced in vitro models/assays and biomarkers for safety assessment in house. Work with cross-functional teams to conduct state of the art in vitro assays to detect and derisk toxicities for drug candidates in discovery & development stages. Deliver decision-marking data| Design and conduct fit-for-purpose in vitro experiment to test on/off-target mechanisms of toxicities for drug candidates in discovery and development stages. Analyze, interpret and document research findings clearly and effectively. Report to Director of in vitro/investigative tox group within Nonclinical Safety Assessment Team.

MS degree in biology, immunology, molecular biology, pharmacology, toxicology, biotechnology or related field is required. Industrial working experience is highly desirable. This is a wet lab bench scientist position, which requires hands-on technical expertise in biology/immunology field. Experience with best practices in mammalian cell culture is required. Previous experience with 3D in vitro models, flow cytometry, immune-related assay development is a plus. Skilled in data analysis, interpretation, presentation and documentation of results. Ability to work well in team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an enthusiastic mindset for working in a highly collaborative and impactful scientific environment.
