As Mechanical Integration Leader - within the team of Concept & Program in Vehicle Engineering, you will drive complete vehicle layout decision-making, cross-domain coordination, team management, and ensure delivery of engineering. You will balance the geometric

and solutions from among others: Technology Roadmap, Safety, Sustainability, Product Design, Attribute Leaders, and Manufacturing to an agreed and well-functioning car. This is a very important and central role in our department process. This balancing is the base for all further development work. The role includes also to propose or design own suggestions and design solutions on existing platform architecture, working on mechanical integration with Tophat Block Leaders for complete vehicle, with data for reporting in the various decision-making forums. In time, we also think that you should try on other block areas in the car to get even wider knowledge. Good communication skills are required in this cross-functional role and you will build and maintain an extensive network throughout the company. In summary, as Mechanical Integration Leader, you are a Technical Leader and a Mechanical Integration Expert to drive the complete vehicle integration from early concept phase to series production across the full program lifecycle, providing a development path toward the project chief engineer role. • Deliver the overall vehicle package plan and own the outcome. As the technical leader of the project's overall vehicle layout, lead the decision-making on key sections, hard point systems, vehicle layout strategies and schemes, output the overall vehicle layout plan and be responsible for the results. • Coordinate the integration team and collaboration with various teams such as modeling and engineering R&D, as well as production and manufacturing fields. Lead cross-functional technical reviews and resolve package conflicts to ensure feasibility across geometry, ergonomics, and assembly. • Lead the vehicle layout team, be responsible for task division, technical review, problem escalation, and mentor development. • Partner with the Project Chief Engineer to drive on-site package problem-solving during prototype build and lead dimension chain and geometric compatibility issue resolution during production ramp-up, tracking through to closure at SOP (Start of Production). • Drive package activities end-to-end: concept-phase section planning, engineering-phase detailed layout, prototype/test issue rectification, and production-phase dimension chain release. Own the cadence of deliverables across all phases. • Report to the Project Chief Engineer, take ownership of technical decision implementation, and partner with the Chief Engineer on technology planning, process optimization, and platform technology accumulation. What you’ll bring • Technical education (BSc/BEng or equivalent) . • 10+ years of vehicle package integration experience, with at least two full-cycle SOP vehicle program (Concept → Engineering → Prototype Build → Testing → Series Production) served as the package lead. • Proficient in CATIA V5; familiar with Teamcenter Engineering, Vis Mockup, and other PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and visualization collaboration tools; capable of DMU (Digital Mock-Up) verification. • Able to engage in technical discussions and decision-making with Design, Tophat (Exterior and Interior), Platform architecture and EE architecture for complete vehicle integration. • Hands-on package integration experience on a BEV platform or an HEV/PHEV platform (experience on both is preferred). • Fluent in English written and spoken • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. • Analytical and structured thinking. • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in speaking in front of larger groups • Strong technical and leadership capabilities. • Self-driven and self-managed, while being a supportive and collaborative team player • Positive and open-minded attitude toward change and innovation.
