Product Quality Engineer

Participate in process related improvements initiatives (same with PcE’s). Upon request, supports production with problem analysis and leads second line analysis when competence is needed. Provide the necessary proposal of tools & methods and its guidelines for containments and improvements. Drives quality improvements for current models together with VRT resources with regard to manufacturing deliveries. Responsible for investigations and actions when manufacturing variability deviations are noticed by Quality Engineering and VRT manufacture team. Initiate and implement corrective activities, propose for TPII and issue PTF. Support other corrective measures e.g. TPD, Concept Adjustment, control activity. In running production phase, by means of plant test form execute trial assembly together with responsible task leader within R&D in order to verify intended technical solution and identify consequences for the plant. Sends out test notification prior to the test assembly.

Minimum level of competence is bachelor degree in mechanical engineering/industrial science or similar level of experience. Practical experience from the production process preferable. Knowledge about the product, processes, methods, and tools at Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering and R&D. Certified 6 sigma level 2 is preferred, and equivalent 6sigma training.
