SQA Engineer

. Take part in the selection of new suppliers through quality audits Safeguard supplier quality based on company audits and control of processes and parts releases Follow-up on the release of new products Develop action plan to improve delivery time, delivery accuracy, and quality Set performance targets and communicate/follow up improvement plans to reach targets Development of new suppliers Develop knowledge and become the company reference for specific commodities Handle quality rejections by identifying and solving the root cause Measure the performance of the supplier base and track of the results to periodically report to management Ensure optimization of systems & databases to include quality deviations, rejection handling, first sample inspection, audit reports, etc. Systematically search for purchasing synergies within the organization and with colleagues from other divisions and other product companies Willing to travel occasionally (short trips) Experience requirements Minimum of 3 years Supplier Quality Engineering experience. Technical background or project management experience. Good problem solving skill, good practice on quality tools like 8D, 5 WHY and continue improvement. Experience with ISO9001/ISO14001 Quality Management Systems. Knowledge Must be familiar with standard mechanical inspection techniques and tools Confidence to enforce Quality Management System while also working as part of a team Cross functional knowledge in process management, quality assurance and project management Good knowledge in engineering drawing, with 4 years’ experience within manufacturing environment, proven work record. Fluent in English writing, speaking and listening. The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills and is proficient in Microsoft Office software package. Educational requirements Bachelor or master degree in Mechanical, Engineering or industry fields, or an equivalent combination through education and professional experience. Personality requirements Good planning and executing capability, good team player, could work under pressure, systematic thinking. Strong inter-personal, influencing and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to communicate in a clear and structured manner through a variety of media.
