Growth & Influencer Marketing Manager – Korea

Job Overview We’re building the next creative tool that Korean Gen Z and young trendsetters won’t stop talking about — and we need someone who lives and breathes K-Culture to lead the charge. If your feed is packed with Korean fashion OOTDs, K-Beauty routines, Insa-shot (인생샷) photo hacks, and viral challenges, and you’re constantly testing the latest photo, video, and AI creative apps, you’re in the right place. In this role, you won't just execute a pre-made playbook. As part of Meitu's global growth team, you will be the voice, cultural compass, and growth engine taking our products (such as BeautyPlus and next-gen AI imaging tools) from 0 to 1 in Korea — connecting with top local creators, curating the exact Sensibility (감성) that resonates, and making every campaign feel like it was born in Seoul. What You’ll Do Lead the Creator & Social Ecosystem: Own our presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Naver. Map out content strategies that hook Korean audiences with the perfect mix of local sensibility, visual punch, and trend alignment. Build & Scale Influencer Networks: Scout, negotiate, and nurture relationships with Korean KOLs, KOCs, and micro-creators. Manage the full collaboration lifecycle from initial outreach and seeding to performance tracking, turning creators into authentic brand advocates. Capitalize on Real-Time Trend Cycles: Keep your finger on the pulse of Korea’s lightning-fast trends — transforming local photo poses, Life 4-Cuts (인생네컷) aesthetics, K-Beauty moods, and viral memes into fresh app features, templates, and marketing campaigns before they peak. Curate In-App Aesthetics & UGC Challenges: Work hands-on with localized visual assets (templates, filters, AI styles) to ensure the product feels completely native. Launch in-app challenges and community events that fuel organic UGC and user referral loops. Optimize Full-Funnel Growth: Partner with global marketing teams to produce performance ad creatives tailored to Korean aesthetic standards. Optimize the user journey from social discovery $\rightarrow$ App Store conversion $\rightarrow$ onboarding $\rightarrow$ subscription retention.

Korean Cultural Native: Native Korean or someone who has lived/studied in Korea for 3+ years. You instinctively know what local Gen Z and young trendsetters find cool, aesthetic, and share-worthy across fashion, beauty, and digital lifestyle. Social Media & Algorithm Power User: Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube algorithms. You know what content formats drive actual saves, shares, comments, and app installs. Imaging & AI App Enthusiast: Passionate about photography, Vlog editing, and AI creative tools. You hold strong opinions on filter aesthetics, editing workflows, and visual storytelling. Growth & Marketing Operator: 1–3+ years of hands-on experience in mobile app growth, social media management, creator marketing, or content operations with a track record of driving user growth. AI-Native Communicator: Excited about AIGC technology and skilled at translating complex AI features into trendy, must-have tools that local creators love to post about. Language Skills: Native-level Korean with the ability to write punchy, trend-savvy copy that sounds like an authentic local creator. Professional proficiency in Chinese or English for seamless, cross-functional collaboration with global HQ teams. Bonus Points Active Creator Presence: You manage your own active social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) with a strong personal visual style and an understanding of audience growth.
