Engineering Team Leader (Low Pressure - Screw & Lobe)

As a Team Leader, it will be your mission to lead projects that will include new design dedicated for specific (China, APAC and US) markets, localizations of existing products (from other Atlas Copco product companies), local product design based on team’s competence, and cost reduction projects in the range of low pressure compressors and blowers. You will work in close cooperation with Divisional Product Manager and report to your Engineering Manager. Your responsibilities include:

   Coach a team of engineers, leading as model by examples.

2. 02

   Obtain strong commitment of the team to realize projects on time in full, with as key objectives meeting the committed time-to-market, product cost and quality.

3. 03

   Enrich continuously blower, LP compressor and lobe specific knowledge, focusing on functionality and positioning on the customer value/cost balance. Distribute achieved knowledge actively within your engineering team.

4. 04

   Coordinate all of low-pressure projects (screw/lobe): chair the Project Team Meetings and Project Committee Meetings to drive actions and decisions.

5. 05

   Focus on continuous application of safety procedures and 5S within the team, following the related OHS regulations and procedures.

   Interact strongly with the other design centers in the Atlas Copco Group, applying agreed design processes and development tools. To succeed, you will need Competence and

Experience requirements • Experience in project team working and product development is an asset. Knowledge

   Master or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

2. 02

   At least 5 years of experience in machine design or project management

3. 03

   Good knowledge of English both in speaking and writing.

4. 04

   Knowledge of ERP & CAD systems. Personality requirements
