QC Microbiology Manager/Sr. Manager

/Tasks:

• Lead projects independently in the field of method development of microbiological testing (microbial enumeration, microbial identification, sterility, disinfectant efficacy, bacterial endotoxins, etc.) in compliance with internal procedures and external

and regulations.

• Execute and realize the QC (Quality Control) technology strategy for microbiological assays. Build case for change for new technologies and innovation, and ensure successful change management for implementation.

• Support the QC network teams to manage, align and drive continuous improvement of microbiology test methods.

• Provide technical input in technical activities related to microbiological applications including analytical control system development, scientific reviews, validation, comparability assessments, and lifecycle management.

• Actively engage in external influencing and industry best practice discussions to advance strategic priorities.

Education and Experience:

• Doctor’s Degree in biology, microbiology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other relevant discipline, no industry experience required

• Master’s Degree, 5 or more years’ quality, compliance or other relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry

• Bachelor’s Degree, 10 or more years’ work experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry

• Abroad education/experience is preferred.
