Valeo Service Technical Center Manager

Mission 1: Technical Center Management

Manage the realisation and operation of the Valeo Service Tech Centre in China

- Validate the Tech Centre installation and all required equipment

- Ensure safety and respect of legal constraints for the China Tech Centre

- Manage the Tech Center team (hierarchical manager)

- Organise the operations, schedule interventions and manage workfl ow

Ensure the interaction with the European Tech Centre and the other tech teams in VS

Mission 2: Team Management

- Manage the VS China Tech Centre team directly

- Defi ne the missions, evaluate performance, encourage training and development

Mission 3: Product Development & validation

Contribute to the development of new Valeo Service product ranges and services

- From the marketing input, formalise technical

- Follow-up on the development with suppliers and partners

- Support purchase and quality departments for supplier and solutions validations

Develop product user instructions, datasheets and troubleshooting methodologies

Mission 4: Technical support, documentation and training

- Provide technical support to VS China marketing team and its customers

- Develop technical documentation, like fi tting instructions and technical bulletins

- Organise technical support to technical training production and deployment

Requirements:

-Master degree in Engineering, Physics or Transportation

-Knowledge in product engineering, validation processes and risk analysis

-7 years experience minimum in R&D department, systems development or manufacturing for automotive supplier or car manufacturer

-Project management and people management experience

-Experience in technical facility management (test lab, workshop)

-Excellent language skills in English

-Customer relationship and communications skills needed (clear technical documentation and presentation, convincing technical presentation and high level support).

-Supplier relationships: Interaction at technical level

-Experience in automotive repair and knowledge of sales/aftermarket solutions is welcome.
