Job Description The Role and Impact As a Platform Structural Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing structural designs for Intel's cutting-edge data center platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring platform integrity, reliability, and performance by designing innovative solutions that meet technical specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities - Design and analyze structural components for data center platforms, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and testing, to optimize platform designs for reliability and scalability. - Perform simulations and stress tests to evaluate the mechanical and thermal performance of structural components. - Generate design documentation, including models, drawings, and technical reports, to support project development and manufacturing processes. - Identify and implement design improvements to enhance platform robustness, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. - Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in structural design practices.

Minimum Qualifications - PHD or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relevant field. - Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools used for structural analysis. - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials science, and manufacturing processes. - Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) techniques and tools. Preferred Qualifications - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex design challenges. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across multidisciplinary teams. - Experience working on data center platforms or related technologies. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
