Sr Account Executive I - EDA and AI Solutions

Summary As a Product Sales Specialist for EDA and AI Solutions at Cadence China, you will be at the forefront of driving next-generation intelligent semiconductor design. Your primary mission is to drive the sales and proliferation of Cadence’s core EDA software while spearheading the adoption of our cutting-edge AI-driven design products and AI Agent technology among strategic IC customers. Working synergistically with account and engineering teams, you will champion technology-focused strategies that leverage AI Agents to automate complex design flows, optimize PPA (Power, Performance, Area), and accelerate customer time-to-market. Job Description Responsibilities: Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to build a robust and healthy business pipeline. Define and execute comprehensive solution-selling strategies that integrate traditional IC design flows with modern AI Agent-driven methodologies. Lead the strategic promotion and proliferation of Cadence's AI product portfolio and agentic design solutions to key accounts, demonstrating how AI Agents can automate engineering tasks and resolve complex design bottlenecks. Create and drive technically compelling events (e.g., AI in EDA technology seminars, Agentic Design workshops) to educate customers on emerging AI trends and accelerate adoption. Act as the bridge between strategic customers and internal engineering/R&D teams; capture customer feedback on AI Agent deployments to help guide future product improvements. Play a lead project management role in major EDA and AI Agent implementation campaigns, guiding strategic accounts through competitive evaluations and proof-of-concept (PoC) deployments. Position

BS degree or above in Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Science, or a related technical major. 8+ years of working experience in EDA sales, technical sales, or customer support is highly preferred. Deep understanding of the semiconductor design chain and ecosystem. Familiarity with IC back-end/front-end design flows (synthesis, place & route, verification, signoff). Awareness of AI Trends & AI Agents: Solid understanding and awareness of broader AI technology development trends, with a specific grasp of AI Agents (智能体) and how agentic workflows apply to automated semiconductor design. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and resilient, with excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills. Good command of English in both written and oral communication.
