Senior software engineer

Position responsibilities

● Propose, design, and implement the most suitable solutions for business requirements

● Maintain systems in the VCP area

● Lead system vendors to fulfill the business requirements with high-quality IT systems.

● Periodically share knowledge with global IT team members and cultivate junior members.

Experience

Requirements

● More than 5 years of experience in IT, mastering the knowhow of enterprise applications designing, development and architecture.

● Hands-on experience with cloud service architecture design (especially on AWS and GCP). Experience in building and maintaining common application frameworks, libraries, and enterprise-level frameworks. Experience in utilizing microservices architecture.

● Excellent communication, summarization, and reporting skills. Experience in collaboration with a global team.

● Excellent logical thinking skills with the ability to understand intent and context and solve problems effectively in a multilingual environment.

● Leadership mindset

Good to have

● Experience in the retail industry or manufacturing industry, especially at the domain of Product Planning, Digital Marketing or Supply Chain related business.

● Experience in developing and operating high concurrency web applications or distributed systems.

● Project management skill, and supplier management ability.

● Sense for information security. Experience in information security audits or improvement projects.

● Able to accept short-term travel locally or globally (max 25%)
