will be integration and validation of charging and energy products; Firmware project steering and release management. What You'll Do · Perform hardware and firmware integration of next generation Tesla Charging Systems. · Lead and own firmware validation, new features definition, firmware regression, and firmware releases. · Integrate and debug features at the system level and release the changes to production. · Lead short- and long-term development projects including

definition, application architecture, UI design, implementation, automated quality testing, continuous deployment, factory and field trial. · Facilitate & project manage partnerships with key groups such as Product Management, Marketing, Executives, Customer Technical Support, Service Engineering, System Test and Firmware/Software development teams, Factory Firmware, and other partner engineering teams. · Manage and resolve conflict with the ability to influence cross-functional teams while managing multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities. · Create detailed and frequently challenging schedules and deliver to commitments with an ability to see all interdependencies for every deliverable and milestone. Identify key critical path areas in the schedule and monitor resolution and overall project impact. Inspire, lead, and organize internal improvement initiatives for existing software and firmware engineering. · Ability to prioritize competing needs based on business/customer needs. · Schedule, and communicate software release target timelines to stakeholders. · Coordinate end-to-end the software release sign-off process ensuring on-time software launches. · Manage and communicate scope, schedule, and launch changes smoothly while ensuring continuous communication to leadership, stakeholders, and team members What You'll Bring · Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Computer Science or Computer Engineering is a plus), proven track record of exceptional abilities, professional experience and achievements, or equivalent. · 3+ years of experience in hardware integration and system software. · Hands-on experience with electrical and software engineering components and an understanding of how they interact in a complex product. · 3+ years working with software or firmware teams, as a developer or tester · 5+ years’ experience leading large, cross-functional teams as a program manager or engineering leader. · Ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment while managing conflicting priorities and achieving tight launch schedules. · Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Desired: Background/experience with FW or system development.
