Vehicle Program Manager, Attribute Integration / 整车属性集成项目经理

This role is a part of the Project Core Team and leads the Attribute team and Vehicle Integration work in the industrialization phase (mainly) of a car project in order to deliver attributes and functions according to given frames. This role is leading, balancing and reporting the Attributes of the complete vehicle. This role has authority and mandates to: • Balance attributes, functions and system solutions, including target deviations relative to complete vehicle, platform

and cost. • Approve deviations from technical requirements at the Program Design Review Meeting. • Take decisions within given frames regarding planning, resources, requirements and technology. • Represent Attributes and Mechanical Integration in all forums as required by the project. • Leads and has the decision‑making mandate as chairman at the Program Design Review Meeting. • Manages, plans and leads the Attributes and Mechanical Integration work as part of the project (mainly in the industrialization phase) to secure fulfillment of Attributes, Functions and Mechanical Integration, including target deviations. • Leads APMM (Attribute program management meeting), which includes representatives from all Attributes, Product Validation and Mechanical Integration. • Summarizes Attributes status via Attribute reviews using the Attribute Status Review Tool. • Anchors the Attributes and Mechanical Integration status and milestones to Unit Management. • Reports the Attributes and Mechanical Integration status at milestones and gateways to Program Management. • Drives corrective actions when deviations occur from targets or plans. • Escalates to the Technical Program Leader and Unit Management when program targets are not fulfilled. • Represents Attributes, Functions and Mechanical Integration in the deviation process. • Drives verification of Attributes‑ and Mechanical‑Integration‑related self‑certification plans. • Ensures that common Volvo Cars processes are adhered to within their own assignments. • Contributes to deploying and refining improvements and new ways of working. What you’ll bring • University degree Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Master degree or above is preferable). • 8+ years of experience vehicle attributes area, have rich experience at least on two attributes and understand the basis of the vehicle attributes (Safety, NVH, VD, Energy, Sustainability, Performance, Drivability etc). • Strong leadership in attribute development, good at communication, cooperation and collaboration with stakeholders. • Strong responsibility and passion in vehicle attribute development and auto industry, proactive, self-driven and good learning ability during daily work. • Valid driver's license and attribute test ability on proving grounds and public roads.
