Project Engineer (CMA)

1. 01

   Lead the system architecture design and core module development for stylized content generation, intelligent vector generation, and visual creative support tools based on the lab's research needs in AI-empowered creative design.

   Responsible for the fine-tuning, inference deployment, workflow orchestration (e.g., ComfyUI, Multi-Agent synergy), and backend API encapsulation of generative visual models (e.g., Diffusion Models) and multi-modal large models.

   Design and develop highly available and interactive visual analysis interfaces and creative design prototypes to support research needs in Computer Graphics, Data Visualization (VIS), and Human-Computer Interaction (CHI).

4. 04

   Assist in maintaining Linux GPU server clusters and containerized environments, facilitate the engineering translation of cutting-edge algorithms into practical applications, and support technical documentation and project delivery.

Qualifications: Education & experience:

   Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Media Technology, or related interdisciplinary fields.

   At least 1 year of working experience in AI algorithm engineering, computer graphics/vision applications, software system development or related industry. Skills:

   Solid programming foundation with proficiency in Python and common front-end/back-end or visualization development technologies.

   Familiarity with Linux development environments, Git version control, and Docker containerization.

   Familiarity with mainstream generative AI models and toolchains (e.g., Diffusion models, ComfyUI, image layering/editing, SVG/vector graphic generation). Experience in developing visual creative support tools is highly preferred.

   Familiarity with the development process of Large Language Models (LLMs) and multi-modal models, with practical experience in model fine-tuning, inference deployment, or Multi-Agent collaborative frameworks. Remuneration and Conditions of Service Appointment Term: may up to 36 Months. Salary (Range): 15000-18000 RMB per month, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position in Chinese Mainland and to be offered by the HKUST(GZ) in accordance with the local employment laws and regulations.
