Technical Leadership • Lead hardware architecture design for digital/connected thermostat systems, including schematic design, PCB layout, sensor integration, and power management • Develop thermal dynamics models for precision temperature control algorithms • Develop connectivity for system integration • Conduct DFMEA and UL/CE certification processes • Conduct design reviews for EMI/EMC compliance Global Collaboration • Coordinate with European engineering teams on design and test • Produce technical documentation, including product spec, product & system validation plan, etc. • Conduct virtual sessions across multiple time zones (UTC+1/+8) Supplier Management • Collaborate with EMS partners to ensure smooth, on-time and high-quality delivery • Resolve CMs' DFM issues using Six Sigma methodologies

Essential: • Bachelor’s in electrical engineering with 7+ years in thermostat/industrial control development • Fluent English speaking • Experience with global projects, demonstrated ability in multicultural technical communication • Experience in: • Cadence for 4+ layer PCB layout • PID tuning for thermal control systems • Embedded C for microcontroller-based designs • Design various communications e.g. Matter, Thread, ZigBee • IEC 60730 safety implementations • Design for 10-year product lifecycle in -40°C to +85°C environments Preferred: • Certified PMP practitioner • Working knowledge of thermostat system integration • Understanding on cyber security development lifecycle • Experience with home energy management system or building management system
