Staff Firmware Engineer - BMC

Key Responsibilities: Implement OpenBMC software stacks (D-Bus services, platform management, IPMI, PLDM, and MCTP) for enterprise servers. Own firmware features and modules from design through implementation, validation, and sustaining support. Support server platform bring-up activities and resolve firmware-related integration issues. Collaborate with global engineering teams and cross cross-functional teams, for NPI and sustaining. Strictly adhere to firmware coding standards. Minimum

5+ years of BMC Firmware development experience, with 1+ years minimum in OpenBMC. Ability to work on complex technical projects, take part in architecture reviews, and collaborate across global R&D teams. Understanding of computer architecture, firmware design principles, and low-level software development. Working knowledge of out-of-band management standards (PLDM, MCTP, IPMI) and low-level bus protocols (I2C/I3C, SPI/eSPI, SMBus, PCIe VDM) Proficiency in embedded C/C++ development for x86/ARM server platforms. Familiarity with ASPEED series (e.g., AST2600, AST2700).
