We seek to hire Legal Counsel who will be a key member of the growing legal team supporting AliExpress global litigation and e-commerce business around the world. This role will be based in Hangzhou, China office. The key areas and requirements that we are looking for are those listed below: Primary Responsibilities：

   Support and advise on global corporate and commercial aspects of our e-commerce business’ global expansion of current and proposed new initiatives.

   Handling domestic and overseas litigation and arbitration cases involving the company, including but not limited to coordinating and managing external counsels, drafting legal documents, evidence collection, filing cases, appearing in court to respond to lawsuits, etc.

   Participate in dispute negotiations, customer complaint handling and related legal support work.

   Maintain good communication and collaboration with courts, arbitration institutions and external law firms and other legal institutions, and coordinate resources to promote case progress.

   Research the latest laws and regulations and judicial practice trends related to e-commerce business in multiple jurisdictions, and provide internal training and policy recommendations.

   Advise on our e-commerce business’ global expansion of current and proposed new initiatives.

   Integrated AI tools into daily tasks to streamline execution, effectively reducing turnaround time and ensuring consistent high-efficiency delivery.

   Legal qualification in PRC and/or other jurisdictions.

2. 02

   5-7 years of post-qualification experience at a leading law firm and/or corporation, among which at least 2 years’ experience is on litigation. In-house experience is welcome (especially if e-commerce/tech related), but not mandatory.

   Professional proficiency in both English and Chinese.

   Highly-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure in a start-up environment.

   Sincere interest in e-commerce, technology, innovation and business. Strong commercial sense with solid foundation in legal training.

   High integrity and desire to collaborate with others.

   Proficient in leveraging AI tools to enhance daily work efficiency.
