Principal responsibilities * Manage cloud and on-premises platforms, containers and orchestration tools. * Monitor system performance, availability, capacity and security. * Support incident, problem and change management. * Improve reliability, recoverability and operational resilience. * Work with developers, architects, testers, cyber-security and operations teams. * Apply infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management practices. * Understanding of Agile delivery, secure development and IT service management. * Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills. * Works effectively across engineering, business and control functions. * Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues. * Looks for practical improvements rather than simply maintaining the status quo. * Knowledge of cloud platforms, commonly Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. What additional skills will be good to have？ * Experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, platform engineering or software engineering. * Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
