Product Marketing Manager(SoC)
岗位职责
Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight Conduct in-depth research on intelligent cockpit industry trends, including multi-display interaction, domain controller architecture evolution, cockpit-driving fusion, AI agent-driven interaction paradigms, and the evolving role of edge-side AI inference in vehicle cockpit systems. Translate these trends into actionable product strategy. Monitor the adoption of mainstream AI large models in cockpit scenarios — including Qwen, Spark, and other multimodal models — and assess their implications for SoC architecture, NPU

, and memory bandwidth.
SOC Product Definition & Roadmap Ownership Define and own the product roadmap for intelligent cockpit SoC product lines, from market requirements document (MRD) through product requirements document (PRD) to tape-out and mass production. Drive chip specification definition by translating customer requirements and market demands into architecture-level features, including CPU/GPU/NPU compute targets, memory bandwidth, multimedia codec capabilities, display and camera interfaces, and functional safety requirements. Conduct quantitative market sizing, customer demand analysis, and competitive teardown analysis to produce product requirement documents (PRDs) and business cases that align technical capabilities with commercial opportunities. Manage the full product lifecycle: design-in, tape-out, validation, mass production ramp-up, and end-of-life planning.
Go-to-Market & Commercial Strategy Develop and execute effective Go-to-Market strategies for new SoC product launches, covering target customer segmentation, pricing strategy, channel strategy, and launch timing. Produce core sales enablement assets: promotion slidrs, product briefs, competitive fighting guide, and demo narratives that articulate differentiated value. Collaborate with sales leadership to define account penetration strategies for key domestic and international OEMs and Tier 1 customers. Drive design-win execution by coordinating cross-functional resources across sales, FAE, and marketing to achieve product design-win targets and revenue milestones. Represent SemiDrive at industry conferences, OEM technology days, and ecosystem partner events.
Customer Engagement & Field Collaboration Partner with front-line sales and FAE teams to conduct joint customer visits, technical workshops, and design-win pursuit activities across OEMs and Tier 1s. Capture real-world customer pain points—latency, thermal constraints, software stack compatibility, functional safety certification—and feed them back into product definition and roadmap prioritization. Support key account pursuit activities and strategy for cockpit SoC design-ins, ensuring alignment between product capability and OEM platform roadmaps. Establish and maintain relationships with OEM platform architects, Tier 1 product managers, and ecosystem software partners to stay ahead of evolving requirements.
Competitive Strategy & Analysis Build and maintain a comprehensive competitive analysis framework covering performance benchmarks, feature parity, pricing positioning, and ecosystem maturity against key competitors. Develop and continuously refine competitive positioning strategies, including technical differentiation narratives, cost-performance arguments, and migration path stories for OEMs currently using competitor platforms. Anticipate competitive moves by monitoring patent filings, product announcements, partner ecosystem developments, and industry hiring patterns. Qualifications: Education & Background Bachelor's degree or above from a top-tier university in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field. Master's or PhD degree strongly preferred. Candidates with research or engineering backgrounds in SoC architecture, embedded systems, or automotive electronics are highly desirable. Experience Minimum 5 years in the automotive, semiconductor, or robotics industry, with direct experience in SoC product management, product marketing, or technical strategy roles. Hands-on technical experience in R&D, chip design, or embedded system development, demonstrating the ability to engage credibly with engineering teams and customer technical decision-makers. Proven track record of defining, launching, and scaling complex semiconductor products — ideally automotive-grade SoC or MCU products — from concept to design-win to mass production. Strong business sensitivity: the ability to assess market opportunities quantitatively, build defensible business cases, and prioritize product investments based on ROI and strategic alignment. Preferred Additional Qualifications Experience with AI model deployment on edge devices or automotive NPU optimization. Existing relationships within Chinese OEM cockpit platform teams or global Tier 1 cockpit product organizations. Familiarity with automotive software ecosystems: Android Automotive OS, QNX, hypervisor-based multi-OS architectures, and AUTOSAR adaptive platform. Experience working in a fast-growing, high-ambiguity environment where product definitions may require iterative validation with customers rather than being fully specified upfront. Prior experience contributing to global market expansion — particularly European or Japanese automotive markets — through product localization, compliance adaptation, or partner enablement. Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills: comfortable presenting to OEM executives, technical architects, and industry audiences; capable of tailoring messaging for technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
