We are seeking a highly motivated intern to support the development of magnetic components for automotive power electronics, including On-Board Chargers (OBC) and DC/DC converters. The internship focuses on electromagnetic modeling, finite element simulation automation, and data-driven surrogate model development. You will work closely with project engineers to build automated simulation workflows and accelerate the design optimization of transformers and inductors used in high-power automotive applications.

Required Knowledge, Competencies and Attributes

1. Support the electromagnetic design and modeling of magnetic components (transformers and inductors) for automotive OBC and charger applications
2. Develop Python-based automation tools for finite element simulations
3. Build, execute, and maintain automated simulation workflows
4. Validate finite element simulation results against experimental measurements and analyze discrepancies
5. Develop surrogate models (meta-models) to accelerate magnetic component design and optimization
6. Organize simulation data and contribute to model documentation
7. Strong programming skills in Python are mandatory
