Exterior Intern / 外饰实习生

Concept Development • Generate quick ideation sketches (thumbnail to full-scale) exploring proportions, graphics, and character lines. • Assist in creating mood boards, silhouette studies, and theme evolution boards. Digital & Physical Execution • Produce high-fidelity 2D renders (Photoshop) of exterior proposals. • Support digital modeling team by preparing reference images and basic Alias/Blender surfaces. • Participate in clay modeling sessions (prepping surfaces, applying tape lines, documenting iterations). Research & Benchmarking • Conduct competitor design analysis (front fascias, light signatures, wheel designs, aero details). • Research emerging trends in automotive, EV, and mobility design (e.g., seamless surfaces, lighting as branding). Studio Support • Organize design review boards and presentation decks. • Document design iterations and maintain studio libraries (reference images, physical cutlines).

Education • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or Automotive Design program. Technical Skills • Adobe Photoshop (sketching & rendering), Adobe Illustrator, hand sketching (analog + digital tablet). • Basic familiarity with: Alias / Rhino / Blender (any surfacing or Sub-D tool). • Nice to have: AI or VRED (basic rendering). Portfolio Requirements (Critical) • Must include exterior-only projects (not product or interior only). • Show process: thumbnails → rough sketches → refined renderings. • Nice to have: Any physical clay or foam model photos.
