Senior Principal Solution Engineer

leads discovery, solution definition, and technical product design for high-impact initiatives, while leveraging hands-on expertise in low-code platforms to configure, prototype, and validate solutions. The Senior Principal Solution Engineer helps shape product direction and roadmap priorities by identifying scalable opportunities from customer and business needs. The role establishes best practices for solution design, ensures solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with long-term platform strategy, and mentors’ product and solution engineering teams. Success requires strong technical expertise, product thinking, stakeholder influence, and the ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into practical, reusable, and sustainable solutions. Essential Functions of the Job: · Own product strategy and roadmap for complex enterprise capabilities, balancing customer needs, business objectives, technical feasibility, and platform strategy. · Lead customer and stakeholder discovery to understand business processes, user needs, pain points, and desired outcomes; translate insights into scalable product opportunities. · Define, prioritize, and deliver product capabilities , including

Apply technical skills to prototype and validate solutions directly on the platform. · Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Design, and Solution teams to evaluate technical trade-offs, integrations, scalability, security, technical debt, and platform capabilities. · Lead POCs, pilots, and complex solution validations , using hands-on platform configuration and customer feedback to validate product concepts and inform roadmap decisions. · Distinguish scalable product capabilities from customer-specific customization , ensuring solutions can be reused across customers and aligned with the broader product strategy. · Drive adoption and measurable outcomes by defining success metrics, analyzing usage and customer feedback, and continuously improving the product experience. · Serve as a bridge between business, customers, and technology , translating complex business problems into practical, scalable product solutions. · Mentor and collaborate with other product and technical team members , promoting customer-centricity, data-informed decisions, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: · Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). · 8-12+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Product Management, or business analyst roles. · Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-scale solutions across multiple systems and teams. · Experience working in regulated environments and applying validation, compliance, and testing best practices. · Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders. · Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide other engineers. · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity. · Experience with scripting or light development (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
