Senior Marketing Manager, Solutions & Services Group (SSG)

Lenovo’s North America Marketing organization is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager for the Solutions & Services Group (SSG) to lead regional marketing strategy and activation. As Lenovo expands beyond its heritage in devices and amplifies its infrastructure portfolio, SSG represents a critical growth engine, with AI increasingly at the center of how customers transform their businesses and technology environments. Lenovo’s ambition is not simply to provide the technology that enables AI, but to become the strategic partner that helps customers define and navigate their AI journey—from strategy and readiness through implementation, adoption, optimization, and ongoing management. This role will elevate awareness and demand for Lenovo solutions and services, expanding the customer conversation beyond hardware to demonstrate the broader business outcomes Lenovo can deliver. We strongly prefer a B2B marketer with experience marketing AI and digital transformation solutions, IT services, managed services, professional services, digital workplace solutions, software, or other complex technology solutions—particularly where services and solutions are sold alongside or integrated with hardware and software. The ideal candidate knows how to shift conversations from individual products and features to customer challenges, transformation journeys, and measurable business outcomes. This leader will own the North America SSG marketing strategy and activation plan, partnering closely with NA SSG Sales to translate business priorities, growth opportunities, and pipeline needs into marketing action. They will also partner with Worldwide SSG Marketing to shape global campaigns with North America market insights and develop Geo-led strategies where regional needs require additional focus. North America operates through an audience-first marketing model spanning Enterprise/Healthcare, Public Sector, and SMB/Mid-Market. This leader will partner with Audience Segment Marketing leaders to advise how SSG should be represented within segment-led strategies and customer journeys, while proactively developing and co-creating activations that advance SSG priorities. They will also collaborate with IDG and ISG Marketing leaders to deploy integrated One Lenovo campaigns that connect audience needs with the breadth of Lenovo’s portfolio. The role leads a small team and requires a leader who can set strategy, influence across a highly matrixed organization, develop talent, and translate business priorities into measurable marketing action. Key Responsibilities SSG Marketing Strategy & Business Growth Own the North America SSG marketing strategy, priorities, and activation roadmap aligned to business growth objectives, Sales priorities, pipeline opportunities, and customer needs. Build strategies that increase awareness, consideration, demand, and pipeline for SSG and strengthen market understanding of Lenovo’s broader solutions and services capabilities. Translate complex offerings into compelling, customer-centric value propositions focused on business outcomes rather than individual products or capabilities. Identify opportunities to drive services attach, cross-sell, upsell, and whitespace penetration across Lenovo’s customer base. Use customer, market, Sales, pipeline, and performance insights to refine strategy and prioritize investment. AI & Solutions-Led Customer Journeys Position SSG as the strategic partner connecting customer business priorities with the technology, solutions, and services required to achieve them, with AI as a key transformation catalyst. Develop customer journeys that help customers understand where to begin, how to prepare, what to prioritize, and how Lenovo can support them throughout their transformation. Partner across IDG, ISG, and Lenovo’s ecosystem to create integrated plays spanning advisory and consulting, implementation, managed services, devices, infrastructure, software, and partner capabilities. Demand Generation & Integrated Campaigns Develop integrated, multi-channel programs that generate demand, create and accelerate pipeline, and support SSG revenue priorities. Integrate SSG throughout the customer journey—from awareness and education through consideration, conversion, expansion, and retention. Partner with Segment Marketing to embed relevant SSG messaging, solutions, and experiences into audience-led campaigns and field activations. Establish clear KPIs and continuously optimize programs based on performance and business impact. Worldwide & North America Alignment Serve as a strategic marketing partner to NA SSG Sales leadership, translating business priorities, pipeline gaps, market opportunities, and seller needs into actionable marketing strategies.
