Junior Infrastructure Solutions Engineer

Perform certification, validation, and integration testing of hardware and software solutions. Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions. Collaborate with Lenovo engineering teams, VMware, partners, and vendors. Support new product and software releases and validate solution stability and reliability. Work with technologies across virtualization, cloud, edge computing, and AI. Contribute ideas and help build MVPs/prototypes as part of Lenovo’s innovation initiatives. Communicate technical findings, issues, and action plans clearly, both verbally and in writing. Work as part of a global, cross-functional engineering team.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Scripting experience with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or PowerCLI. Minimum 1-2 years of professional work experience in a technical, engineering, IT, or related role Knowledge of computer architecture (processors, memory, GPUs, I/O, peripherals). Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Linux or Windows system administration. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A genuine interest in learning new technologies and products. Nice to Have: Knowledge of VMware / vSAN technologies. Experience with BMC / IPMI. Basic network administration knowledge (L2, protocols, routing). Experience working in a global team. Exposure to Agile/Scrum, Jira, and Confluence. Experience in IT solutions, product development, testing, or technical enablement.
