Accountant Specialist

Key Responsibilities Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports Coordinate audit requests and support annual statutory and external audit processes Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities Analyze financial results and provide insights on key performance drivers Maintain financial models, reports, and forecasting templates Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate accounting policies Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting, reporting, and planning processes Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to support finance initiatives and business objectives Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests

& Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage Relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, audit support, and FP&A Experience supporting multinational environments and multiple entities preferred Knowledge of South Asia entities and markets is an advantage Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in financial analysis Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Good communication and stakeholder management skills Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset Proactive approach to process improvement Strong sense of accountability and ownership Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Preferred Experience 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or FP&A Experience in month-end close and financial reporting processes Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Experience working with cross-functional and regional teams Background in multinational companies is preferred
