Senior AI Developer

Join Lenovo’s Solutions & Services Group (SSG) and help shape enterprise-grade AI solutions that drive real business impact. In this role, you’ll design and deliver end-to-end Generative and Agentic AI systems, working with advanced models (LLMs, SLMs, VLMs) across cloud, on-premise, and edge environments, while ensuring scalability, security, and high engineering standards. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders globally, contributing to solution design, innovation, and pre-sales initiatives. This role reports to the Director, SSG AI Offerings and offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technologies within a dynamic, enterprise-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop Generative and Agentic AI solutions aligned with Lenovo’s strategy and enterprise technical standards Design and build end-to-end AI systems, including architectures, inference engines, agents, and user interfaces Work with LLMs (Large Language Models), SLMs (Small Language Models), and VLMs (Vision Language Models), leveraging MCP and open-source frameworks Integrate AI solutions into existing platforms across cloud, on-premise, and edge environments Identify and implement the right AI tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve solution performance and efficiency Ensure strong security practices, including data encryption, access control, and vulnerability assessments Apply AIOps (Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations) and development best practices across both experimental and production environments Support pre-sales activities (RFP/RFI – Request for Proposal / Request for Information), solution design, documentation, and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
