Senior Manager - People & Organization - Guangzhou

IIT Compliance & Advisory: Review and lead the preparation of complex PRC Individual Income Tax returns; provide ongoing advisory services regarding domestic and international IIT implications, including the tax treatment of equity incentive plans.

Private Client Services & HNWI Advisory: Deliver tailored tax planning advice to high-net-worth clients, family business founders, and private wealth clients. Provide tax insights on wealth succession planning, family trust structuring, and family office establishment.

Global Mobility Services (GMS): Assist multinational corporations with cross-border tax and immigration compliance for inbound expatriates and outbound assignees; advise on and implement Tax Equalization (TEQ) policies.

Tax Controversy & Liaison: Effectively communicate and negotiate with local tax authorities on behalf of clients; assist in handling tax audits, inquiries, and applications for tax treaty benefits.

Team Management & Business Development: Coach, mentor, and evaluate junior tax consultants to ensure high-quality project delivery; assist Partners and Directors in drafting business proposals and actively participate in business development and client relationship management.

& Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.

Experience: More than 8 years of relevant working experience in individual income tax, global mobility services, or private wealth tax advisory, preferably within a "Big Four" accounting firm, recognized consulting firm, or leading law firm.

Professional Qualifications: Holding a CICPA, CTA, PRC Legal Professional Qualification, or equivalent internationally recognized designation (e.g., ACCA, AICPA) is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of PRC Individual Income Tax laws and regulations; knowledge of general tax regulations

Language Skills: Excellent bilingual proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin and English

Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple engagements simultaneously, and be a strong team player.
