Engineering Excellence Manager

Assist in the development and deployment of engineering governance that will drive efficiency, increase transparency, and promote agility. Support Head of Engineering Excellence in the developing systematic management tools and standard dashboards for budget analysis and technology maturity. Establish the framework for effectively managing the scope, budget and goals of projects using Master Specifications or Project Charter. Help drive consistency across project teams. Run specific short-term projects that deliver business benefit Lead engineering teams to adopt structured product design and a VAVE mindset. Provide examples and function as a role model for ‘What good looks like’. Support regional engineering teams in the development of LEAN, modularized product platforms to enable operational efficiency and strengthen our regional supply chain resilience. Collaborate with division and PC engineering teams to review proposals, business cases, and implementation plans for complex projects. Ensure continuous alignment and calibration between teams to achieve goals. Promote the use of GECIA to ensure resources are aligned with

and that PC teams know the appropriate contact points for shared work. Promote a proactive attitude towards risks with a ‘can do’ and ‘fail fast’ culture to accelerate learning and product experience in project teams. Implement ‘Plan-B’ audits and ensure appropriate solutions are in place to prevent risks of project delays or failures during the development phase. Collaborate with the aftermarket teams to ensure we continue to build a sustainable support model for our products. Ensuring the engineering divisional strategy is executed to ensure we can optimise our product lines, continue growth and support of the business lines.
