Costing Intern，Shanghai

Tesla APAC I2C team is currently seeking a costing intern site in Lin Gang, Shanghai.This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and process optimization within a high-tech manufacturing and import/export trade environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate costing, support month-end closing and financial analysis, and contribute to the improvement of cost control processes. Responsibilities · Costing & Inventory Management:Assist in the reconciliation of inventory and COGS accounts and support the month-end closing process.Support the standard cost release, setup, and updating procedures. · Process Improvement & Control:Contribute to the development and maintenance of the internal control framework and process improvements within the ITC accounting function.Help analyze cost variances and provide insights into product cost drivers. · Reporting & Analysis:Prepare reports and schedules for finance close, management review, and audit

.Leverage MS Excel and other tools to generate cost analysis reports and visualize data trends.Assist in APAC ITC accounting bookings and support analysis for specific projects Requirements · Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.· Knowledge:Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) with a keen interest in cost accounting and inventory management.Familiarity with cost control processes and manufacturing operations is a plus. · Technical Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)Basic knowledge of financial/accounting systems; programming skills are a plus. · Soft Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Fluent in English is required).Strong analytical mindset with a "can-do" attitude; enjoys solving complex problems.Detail-oriented and comfortable working with large datasets.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment and under pressure.Positive, self-motivated, and open to learning.
