Key Responsibilities Serve as the technical interface for OEM customers in new product development projects, representing the customer to coordinate internal Cummins resources and ensure effective alignment between product technical solutions and customer

. Translate customer needs and the "Voice of the Customer" into specific product functional requirements; participate in new product development, design reviews, and product change processes, serving as the voice of the customer/market within the organization. Investigate and resolve technical issues arising during product integration and installation, analyze root causes, develop and implement solutions, and document the outcomes. Leverage tools and processes such as Advisor, COLS, and GCE to support installation quality assurance, OEM integration, and product selection, ensuring high-quality decision-making. Communicate and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Value Package Introduction (VPI) teams to deliver product data and installation requirements to application engineers and OEMs. Make decisions regarding product selection, design, and integration to optimize the performance, quality, and cost of OEM equipment. Establish and maintain close working relationships with customer technical teams, manage product specifications, communicate product change information, and assist in handling customer requests. Ensure correct product application and installation quality by validating prototype performance and confirming that installations comply with Cummins requirements. Independently resolve issues with components, products, or systems of moderate complexity, and progressively handle problems of greater technical complexity and ambiguity as experience is gained. Independently execute established workflows and systems while contributing to the improvement of systems and processes. Targeted at junior/early-career professionals. Familiarity with off-highway machinery hydraulic integration, with experience in functional integration commissioning and the ability to resolve customer complaints related to machine performance. Proficiency in MS Office tools.
