Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sourcing strategies to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and risk management objectives. Lead supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and contract management activities for assigned commodities or categories. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure stable supply and continuous performance improvement. Drive cost reduction initiatives through market analysis, value engineering, supplier development, and total cost of ownership (TCO) optimization. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to support business objectives and new product development programs. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to address quality, delivery, capacity, or service issues. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through supplier diversification, capacity planning, and contingency strategies. Analyze market trends, industry developments, and supplier capabilities to support strategic sourcing decisions. . Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects that enhance procurement effectiveness and operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Typically 5-8 years of sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or supplier management experience. Solid understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiations. Experience managing suppliers and procurement activities within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support business decisions. Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective internal and external partnerships. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications. Good business acumen and understanding of cost structures, supply markets, and commercial agreements.
