Mechanical Draftsman

Preparation of installation drawings for tender and sales proposals based on architectural drawings using an automated CAD system. Preparation of transportation drawings using an automated CAD system. Development of 3D models and manufacturing and assembly drawings for various escalator and moving walkway assemblies. Creation of product codes within the production system. Preparation of bills of materials (BOMs).

Higher Technician Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering or Higher Technician Diploma in Mechanical Manufacturing, or an equivalent qualification. Proficiency in 2D CAD and parametric 3D CAD software. Previous experience as a drafter/CAD technician will be an advantage. Intermediate level of English. Proactive individual with the ability to develop designs and technical drawings within an engineering office environment. What would make you stand out among other candidates? Programming knowledge (Excel Macros or similar). Training in BIM methodology. Strong communication skills.
