009ILF-Senior Principal, IP Competition Resilience

Together with LL, PO and IP & Legal team, lead PP Intellectual Property collaboration for all key PP Offers and PP Key technologies: § Ensure that we have the right IP compared to competition. § Initiate & executeconsultation with IP Team for Freedom to Operate in appropriate PP projects. § Lead Competitive Landscaping every 1-3 years. Engage IP & Competition team and PP technical experts for deep analysis. Collaborate on patent risk assessments. § Identify and document potential infringement (including “slavish copy”). Lead advanced analysis with IP & Competition team. In compliance with Legal Global IP Strategy, escalate to EM Legal Leader and IP Team to define best risk mitigation actions and ensure the action landing in PP(up to litigation if necessary). § Working with IP Team to define andimplement the IP Strategy. Define Buy and Sell strategy. § Provide business input to IP Team on PP Patent portfolio. Participate in review and prioritization of patents, provide the validation or rejection opinion on behalf of PP business. § Be PP SPOC in EM IP committee. Together with LL, PO and Marketing, lead competition analysis with IP & Competition team: § Manage end to end competition analysis: Order products, book resources and labs, manage planning and report’s delivery, communicate. § Lead detailed analysis on architecture, technologies, and performances. Identify strengths and weaknesses. § Synchronize with Track team (cost team in India). § Consolidate all PP competition analysis and build a solid shared database. § Contribute to Marketing Battle cards. Together with I&T, GSC and Export team, define PP resilience policy: § Analyze Export Control rules and all geo-political constraints. § Translate these Legal constraints in policy for supply chain and potentially R&D, balancing conservative and optimized approaches. § Define Micro and ASIC resilience policy with I&T Electronic CoE Support. § Define FW resilience policy with PP FW Platforming Leader and PP Cybersecurity Leader. § Connect with I&T and other divisions to share experience. Align with EM and Schneider policy. Professional Experience § Have a strong background in Intellectual Property and experience collaborating with Legal team to manage IP portfolio. +5-10 years of IP portfolio management is mandatory. § Have experience in Purchasing and contract definition to make the interface with GSC and suppliers. § Have experience in Legal to interact with Legal and Export Control team. § Have experience defining a program and leading a team to implement the program. § Experience and demonstrated results in using soft skills to influence and convince is required. § Good social skills and empathy with passion and drive change. § Experience in coaching and mentoring, and successfully building and leading teams in a matrix environment. § Experience with complex technical projects in an Agile environment. § International exposure / experience – proven ability to lead in a matrix environment.
