Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities ž As a group software architect in AAD domain, you are responsible for the E2E software product solutions and architectures (both framework and feature) in an Assisted and Automated Driving computer unit. ž Required to understand complex stakeholder requirements, lead the team to decompose the system requirements into high level and detailed software requirements. ž Responsible to lead the team delivering the design of software architecture and its implementation in software and API interfaces required both from internal teams and potential suppliers. ž Responsible for liaising with the various software teams to agree & communicate requirements, design choices and architecture to deliver products that are scalable and modular. ž Lead the technical discussion across the operational team on topics relating to the integration and harmonization of multiple interconnected functions including issue resolution and objective data analysis. ž Lead the SW safety discussions and the software design choices across the domain. ž Engagement with key project stakeholders around the business to gather requirements, development methodologies and integration of the final product. ž Assist and contribute to the generation of targets and verification methods that are driven by Customer, Function Requirements and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis ž Integration with industry standard CI/CD pipelines ž Planning and Scheduling: Provide technical input into a complete end to end development schedule for software including release. Timing targets, capable of delivering activities to achieve these plans and the drafting / evaluation of software release notes. ž Train the team on the state of art technologies and lead them from a technical standpoint. ž Promote a positive team culture, share knowledge with the team and mentor engineers. ž Participate in interviewing process for the team. ž Teamwork and Leadership: Positive team player, with the strength of character to drive a team of software engineers to support the development of robust code. ž Understanding the business: Understands team & group goals. ž Coach, Train & Mentor: Shares knowledge with others through regular training and delivery support is fundamental to this role also.
