Field Application Engineer - Auburn Hill

1. Independently perform basic function tests, differential tests, full function tests, and other related tests at the PCB level.
2. Investigate the root causes of failures at the BMS system level, follow up on the reliability investigation of electrical components at the PCB level, and complete 8D reports.
3. Manage and address customer complaints effectively, optimizing the failure analysis progress based on specific customer concerns.
4. Support the workflow of the BMS failure analysis team, collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance (QA) departments, and take responsibility for after-sales product support for European customers.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Information Technology, E-Mobility, Automation Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Knowledge: Solid understanding of Battery Management Systems (BMS) or Energy Storage Systems (ESS). Proficient in reading schematic diagrams and familiar with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), 8D reporting, and related methodologies.
3. Skills: Familiar with hardware design, manufacturing processes, common component failure modes, failure mechanisms, and corresponding analysis procedures. Hands-on experience with CAN bus tools (e.g., CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer) is a strong advantage.
4. Experience: Previous project research/development or industry internship experience in the BMS/ESS field. On-site diagnostic experience with BMS systems is highly preferred.
5. Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
6. Other: Highly self-motivated with strong self-management skills. Independent and goal-oriented working style with a willingness to travel for business.
