Electric & Electronic Testing Engineer for Controller

Task:

• Alignment on test strategy, test plan, time schedule, and technical test details for projects in R&D.

• Planning, preparation, and setup of manual and automated test benches for compact Actuator functional and endurance test.

• Execution and/or supervision of tests (climatic, vibration, IP degree of protection, creation of EMC test setups and running tests).

• Evaluation and analysis of test results and documentation. Preparation of detailed test reports in accordance with internal guidelines.

• Collaboration with project team, including international team.

• Handle analysis complaints about actuators.

Qualification:

• Bachelor degree or above in the field of Electromechanical or electrical engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in testing or development of Servo Controllers, Motors or E-actuators.

• Practical knowledge in programmable controllers (PLCs, Siemens, Beckhoff) and their associated peripherals.

• Good knowledge of PLC programming according to EN 61131-3 standard, especially in structured text or another high-level language such as Python.

• Basic knowledge in at least one of the three major industrial fieldbus protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT).

• Experience in measurement technology.

• EMC testing experience will be considered as an advantage.

• Basic knowledge in software testing: ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level will be considered as an advantage.

• Structured and abstract thinking as well as independence and ability to work in a team.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
