Structural Biologist, (Senior) Principal Investigator

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Principal Investigator or Senior Principal Investigator with strong scientific background in Structural Biology for BeiGene discovery pipelines. Job Responsibilities: · Being research function group representative candidate, closely work with cross-functional team. Based on the project needs, with the deep understanding of the projects and strong scientific knowledge, make proposals for Cryo-EM studies, design and execute the key study to get clear scientific conclusion to push forward the progress of program. · Assimilating the cutting-edge methods into work, improving and optimizing the current platform to improve the efficiency under supervision. · Under supervision, identify the key issues crucial to the program and resolve it successfully, and smoothly push the progress forward. · Throughout the cross-team cooperation, propose the novel target, or propose novel modes of action or the novel modalities for the target already in clinical stage on the market and present it to the NTPC committees. · Being the candidate for program leader to lead cross-functional teams, throughout deeply searching the literature or public information by competitive companies regarding this program, and have deep understanding on the target, identify key scientific questions, propose the critical scientific insights, design and execute key studies to facilitate go/no-go decision for the program; and push the program smoothly to the milestone as planned. · Keep abreast of most updated scientific progress, present scientific data to internal audiences, or attend the global conference to present BeiGene to professionals in the industry with the posters or abstracts independently. • PhD Degree, major on Structural Biology or related. · Above 4 working years of structural biology field · Equipped with, including but not limited: ü Hands-on experiences in recombinant protein production in various expression system, including E. coli, Insect cell and Mammalian cell.
