Design Project Manager/设计项目经理

• Lead the overall management of design project resource constantly, ensuring the latest resource status is always up to date.
• Lead a large sized group to carry out decided/assigned projects to secure the design expected deliveries.
• Lead the critical topics to be quickly discussed and aligned for the workplan to move the project forward to ensure design milestones are smoothly declared.
• Lead key design review meetings and cross functional escalation meetings to drive internal design decisions and external alignment on key topics, ensuring key decisions or shared actions are documented.
• Represent as the key window person from design department to closely cooperate with cross function team or different parties to ensure key information is transparently and efficiently communicated, the team is not limited to strategy, business, program, product, technical, commercial, etc.
• Lead organizations of quick meetings to invite key stakeholders externally and internally to align roles and responsibilities if anything unclear in process.
• Support preparations and logistical activities before any format of reviews related to design.
• Lead/Support to communicate with Sweden design team regularly to ensure deliveries on-time for any things required for cooperations between two regions.
• Support communications between marketing and design team on activities to ensure successful car launch.
• Be flexible and capable of rotating to support UX design program management work when there is a need to balance the overall project management workload under the whole design department.

• Bachelor or Master degree in Vehicle Engineering/Industrial Design/Mechanical Engineering or others related, with 8+ years work experience in auto industry and particularly in project management.
• Extensive knowledge of each business function under design department not limited to Ext design, Int design, CMF design, Digital modeling, Physical modeling, Studio engineering, Visualization, Physical UX, etc.
• Fundamental knowledge of the whole vehicle development process and related engineering technical awareness to enable prioritizations of key design topics.
• Comprehensive experience of planning, monitoring and delivering design programs.
• Capabilities to identify the key risks in projects and develop related conformance plans to manage critical issues, involving related stakeholders to align the work plans.
• Strong knowledge of design development process, and certain level of UX design process knowledge is a plus point. Capable of improving design development process if there is any opportunity.
• Strong ownership and resilience to undertake challenging work in front of uncertainty or ambiguity during project process.
• Excellent in Mandarin or English to communicate complex ideas or program status.
• Good financial mindset of budget and resource planning.
• Good personal character and leadership skills to influence the project team members to enhance the bonded cooperations with each other.
