Interior Intern / 内饰实习生

Layout & Surfacing • Assist in sketching instrument panels (IP), door trims, center consoles, and seating concepts. • Support digital modelers by providing section sketches and surface direction references. • Help build physical foam mock-ups or cardboard bucks for basic ergonomic testing. User Experience Support • Create user journey diagrams (entry, driving, resting, exiting) to inform layout decisions. • Assist in evaluating reach zones, sight lines, and storage usability (cup holders, phone slots, glove box). CMF & Lighting Integration • Collaborate with CMF team to apply colors, materials, and finishes to interior surfaces. • Propose ambient lighting schemes (RGB strips, hidden illumination, accent lighting). Research & Benchmarking • Analyze competitor interiors (seat patterns, screen placements, material executions). • Research trends in flexible seating, sustainable materials, and digital-physical interfaces. Studio Support • Prepare interior presentation boards (exploded views, material callouts, feature highlights). • Maintain sample library of fabrics, foams, films, and trim parts.

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of Transportation Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or Product Design (with focus on human-centered design). • Essential: Adobe Photoshop (rendering), Adobe Illustrator, hand sketching (interior perspectives). • Basic familiarity with: Rhino 3D or Blender (simple surfacing).
