Senior Director, Clinical Translation, Danaher China

Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Diagnostics, Life Sciences and Biotechnology market dynamics and growth trajectories across both Chinese and global landscapes . Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Danaher’s three core platforms, associated technologies, and developmental pathways, as well as potential areas for technological integration. Develop and execute the comprehensive clinical translation strategy for critical disease areas such as Oncology, Neurology, and Immunology in China, aligned with global R&D and commercial objectives. Serve as the primary China-based leader interfacing with global clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to integrate China-led translation activities into the worldwide product development lifecycle. Oversee the design, initiation, and management of clinical studies in China for IVD, medical devices, and systems used in biologic and cell therapy manufacturing. Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure China data is integral to global clinical development plans and regulatory dossiers. Monitor the competitive and technology landscape in China, providing strategic intelligence on emerging trends and disruptive innovations. Establish and nurture deep relationships with leading Chinese KOLs, academic institutions, research hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, biotechs and manufacturing centers of excellence. Lead the activities of Danaher China Innovation Community, facilitating engagement with R&D and business leaders, and providing S&T and innovation training and education. Cultivate new technical and business talents within the market.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D degree in Life Science, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field. Extensive experience in the Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical/Diagnostics industries; Expertise with related applications and technologies, patents and other intellectual property. Experience having successfully led meaningful Business Development, R&D or other Innovation functions. Established research track record as evidenced by publications and/or professional accomplishments. Experience in project management, partnership management and cross-functional collaboration. Ability to combine and apply scientific/technical and business knowledge, apply lateral thinking skills, and demonstrate strong business acumen with an ability to make balanced decisions. Excellent cross-culture interpersonal, organization, communication and influencing skills, in both Chinese and English. Experience influencing various stakeholders to effect change and achieve results in a dynamic, complex environment. Extensive, active and relevant professional network.
