Responsibilities： • Lead and manage design optimization for cost reduction, quality improvement, and manufacturing efficiency of chassis systems. • Continuously support the manufacturing and quality teams to increase first-pass-yield. • Eliminate field issues by improving component design, the assembly process, and line side controls. • Work with failure analysis to define, validate, and implement design changes that will increase component reliability. • Optimize assembly concepts and designs in 3D Modeling with associated CAE tools. • Establish manufacturing, assembly, and service feasibility. • Complete and release system, sub-system and detail designs. • Complete component and system validation ensuring performance targets are met. • Resolve issues and concerns with cross functional teams including engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and service. • Feedback learnings to Chassis Design team to improve future products and product launches. Requirements ： • An ideal candidate has a strong ability to conceive, research, and implement new techniques and technologies in design and manufacturing. An emphasis on understanding and applying engineering fundamentals is required. An ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in chassis systems. • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability. • Hands-on experience in test, validation, and development activities. • Experience with full product cycles from prototype to production. • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software (CATIA preferred). • Strong task management and prioritization sensibility. • Proficient in working and communicating with cross-functional teams and colleagues.
