SPECIFIC (70%) • Assist to monitor verification of benefit (VOB) and record patient’s insurance coverage information with correct payor and payor plan;

• Ensure timely and accurate updates of patient's insurance benefits in Hospital information system;

• Work with patient access team to assist commercial insurance patients with individual payment related issues upfront;

• Apply GOP and revise GOP (Guarantee of Payment) from insurance company when required and or adjustment of treatment items and/or bill amount exceed GOP amount, etc.;

• Assist to trace GOP and monitor GOP lead time;

• Response effectively and promptly to questions raised by commercial insurance companies and patients;

• Create and maintain payer related information in Hospital information system;

• To keep close communication with clinical and operation team, for efficient and effective service provide to patients;

• Escalate any feedback from insurance companies or patients and/or potential risk to line manager;

• Meeting personal and departmental KPIs, regular record of working outcome;

• Assist to prepare and analyze monthly KPI report; GENERAL (30%) • To be able to plan and execute assigned projects. • To participate in the execution of the Department’s Annual Plan. • To be a leader in embracing change. • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with patients and staff. • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by Head of Hospital Operations and PFS Senior Manager. EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES： • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant education experience;

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solving;

• Customer service and communications skills in both Chinese & English - oral & written;

• 2-3 years hospital billing, insurance company or insurance broker experience is

• Ability to use MC Excel, word, PPT on data analyze with good logical thinking ability;

• A passion for service, detail oriented;

• Ability to communicate and coordinate on issues with other departments within Jiahui Health family;

• Able to work shift, including week-end, overnight duty;

• Basic understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding languages is preferred.
