You will be part of securing ergonomics deliverables, build and secure knowledge within ergonomics, translate the body abilities into design intent and direction, develop relevant tools and methods, deliver principles and guidelines and support in balancing the product. • Support with Ergonomics competence for the developing process directed to future product and services • Analyse fulfillment of

on products (cars, systems, components) • Perform CAD/Catia analysis such as creating restriction geometries • Perform CAE ergo analysis and simulations • Perform vehicle geometrical measurement, scanning and analysis as basis for attribute guidelines/requirements. • Contribute in the work with setting the accurate attribute level with regards to the desired degree of customer satisfaction and competitiveness that fulfils targets • Contribute in the assessment of the complete vehicle as well as individual systems in the vehicle including interaction with other systems affecting the Ergonomics attribute areas • Monitor and evaluate competitor development of system solutions from an ergonomic point of view. • Participate in benchmark activities and perform clinics and analyse customer feedback. What you’ll bring • Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering. • Preferable oriented towards ergonomics and 7+ years work experience mandatory. • Excellent skills in Catia V5 – especially from Surfaces and analysis. • Knowledge of Teamcenter as well as experience from Volvo Car Group’s common internal systems is meritorious but not mandatory. • Experience from vehicle ergonomics or complete vehicle engineering (such as SAE standards i.e J1100, J1516-1517, J826) is an advantage. • Experience from Digital Human Modelling tools, for example Ramsis, is meritorious but not mandatory. • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
