Senior Accountant - Nashville

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Accounting: Manage accounting treatments in compliance with GAAP, including but not limited to AP, AR, payroll, revenue and cost, inventory, fixed assets. Internal Controls: Develop, monitor, and enforce internal control compliance with SOX. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist executives in annual budget planning, track actual spending against budgets, and report variances. Audit Management: Coordinate internal and external financial audits, as well as tax audits. ERP System: Utilize and manage financial software and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Implement new technologies to enhance financial management and reporting. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff. Job

Education: A Bachelor’s or Master degree in accounting. Experience: 10+ years of corporate accounting or public accounting experience, including supervisory or management roles Professional Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP, taxation regulation and SOX. Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, SAP ERP. Analytical Skills: Ability to identify financial trends, analyze variance, and provide data-driven recommendations.
